Sehr dicht und zeitlos detroitig der Track. Federleicht überraschen einen immer. Dubbig,aber dennoch konzentriert und klar kickend und mit sovielen leichten Hintergedanken,dass man den Track einfach nicht oft genug hören kann. Ein stimmungsvolles Monster, der Club-Edit, der die Melodie des brillianten und überschwenglich poppigen Originals fein rausfiltert. Pawas macht daraus einen smashenden Househit, bei dem vom Original wenig übrig bleibt und Estroe eine Art chinesischen Detroithit. Perfekt.

Getragene Musik für alle Lebenslagen. Da hat sich Night Drive Music etwas sehr schönes an Land gezogen. Florian Schirmacher und Marc Bammann sind Federleicht und ihre Musik ist es auch. Gerade das Original kann man schlicht als Musik bezeichnen. Kein Tool, kein hochgezüchtetes Massenprodukt, sondern pure in sich verwobene Gefühle, die Ton geworden sind. Eigentlich steht so ein Stück für sich allein, denn es kann ziemlich nach hinten losgehen, so etwas in einen Clubkontext einpassen zu wollen. Allerdings haben wir es hier mit einem gekonnt gemeisterten Ergebnis zu tun, welches in sich vollkommen schlüssig ist, nicht untereinander konkurriert und immer wieder auf die Replay Taste drücken läßt. Die Clubversion ist ein sanft einsteigernder Groover, der die Melodie des Originals schlicht als gekonnt eingesetztes Finale gebraucht. Der Remix von Pawas bastelt aus diesem Thema zuzüglich Florians sexy Stimme eine warme Houselandschaft, in die man sich problemlos tanzend verirren kann. Und Estroe versucht sich erfolgreich am gebrochen eingehenden Beat und rundet diese wirklich runde EP wunderbar ab. Musik zum Hören, Tanzen, Schwelgen, Untermalen, ...

Really lovely tunes, like them much! Although i'm astonished, that you put em on a 12" - in a positive manner. The Club Mix is very chilling, the Pawas Rmx is cool, but missing the flair of the Original. So i wouldn't play it in a club. The Estroe Remix is beautiful, too. I think this record is more a lounging record or suitable for taking a ride through the nature. Will take place in my car - thank you! :)
